For Teachers

Cybersecurity you can teach without being a cybersecurity teacher.

Preview any lab before you assign it. Watch the class work through it. See exactly where someone got stuck, and why.

Watch the platform explain itself

A guided walkthrough of the real teacher dashboard. It moves at the speed you scroll, and you can leave whenever you like.

What you can see

More than who finished

Most tools tell you a lab is complete. Yours records how the student got there, so a class that is struggling shows up long before a test would tell you.

Progress section by section

Every lab reports each stage a student reaches, not just the finish. You can see someone is on part four of six, in real time.

Attempts, hints, and time spent

Three attempts on one section and two hints taken tells you something a score never will. That is the part you can actually teach into.

Students can ask for help from inside a lab

A raised hand arrives in your dashboard with the lab and the point they were at, so you know what they are asking about before you walk over.

The class at a glance, or one student in depth

Start with the whole class and open a single student when something looks off. Same view, two levels of detail.

What you can do

Run it the way your class actually runs

Assign to everyone, or let students move at their own pace. Either way you decide what they see and when, and you can check any lab yourself before it reaches them.

Preview any lab before assigning it

Open a lab and play it yourself, exactly as a student would. Nothing goes to your class until you have seen it.

Assign one lab, or a whole pathway

Set a single lab for tomorrow, or hand the class a sequence and let students move at their own pace through it.

Control who is in your class

Students request to join and you approve them, individually or all at once. Nobody appears in your roster that you did not admit.

Open access for a learning day

Students normally work through their school account during school. If school is closed, you can extend access from your dashboard.

Browse the whole library

Every lab, filtered by grade band and by the standard it covers, so you can find the one that fits the week you are teaching.

What your students get

They are doing the work, not watching it

Students solve, build, investigate and fix things. What they learn is what they had to understand to finish. Every lab teaches its own vocabulary from zero, so a student who has never heard the word can still complete it. See what each grade band covers.

Bring it to your school

A teacher asking is how this usually starts.

NexGen Secure is licensed to schools rather than sold to individuals. Tell us where you teach and we will take it from there, including speaking with your administration directly if that is easier for you.
